Insurance-based assets (life insurance, annuities, long-term care, etc.) are not subject to our Wealth Management asset-based fees, but the amount invested in those assets is used to determine your fee bracket.
Example: You have a $300,000 fixed index annuity and $1.8 Million in assets we directly manage in one or more of our risk-managed models. You will qualify for the 0.7% fee level on the $2.1 Million in total assets, but we do not charge a Wealth Management fee on the $300,000 balance in the annuity. Insurance-based investments may provide commission-based compensation for the agent(s) and/or firm.
